I don't think is really. I don't think Calvin meant the songs tempo was slower or anything. I mean, it couldn't have been since Calvin created the lyrics and at least rough version of the production likely before either of them sang it to demo.


I think Calvin meant Leona just sang it in a softer more lyrical style, not that the actual song itself had any tempo or production differences. She just sang what was written differently.
