We all know some people tend to go overboard with the weather and posting online. I'm currently finding the "Sandy" twitter tag to be pretty amazing. (Yes, some of these are obviously sarcastic)
And as a preface - yes, you should prepare for emergencies; but panicking on a forum on social networking site just comes off as silly.

People always overreact and I underreact if anything. I love chilling watching everyone go crazy and then nothing happens. People get so caught up in the excitement of it all
