According to this week's Us magazine, while Katy was in NYC, John introduced her to his father Richard and friends.
John later joined Katy in LA on October 19 for her 28th, which Katy celebrated with a Halloween themed bash. She dressed as a Vampire, and John, a zombie hunter.
Katy focused on John more than the other guests.
"She was in her own world," a party goer told Us. "She said hello, then went back to him!"
