I love Britney but Janet.. by miles especially at the core of her discography. Anyone who's listened to the iconic janet. album, I think they will agree.

Janet's discography isn't diverse, so Britney.

If you listen to all of Janet's albums from the beginning to end, no one album sounds the same..even her lesser three albums don't sound the same.
Janet has covered pretty much ever genre and subject known to man..She even wrote a rock song and took it to number 1 on the Hot 100..and then got nominated for a grammy for best female rock vocal performance.
She has mastered the art of reinvention..and still maintains her core genre..which is rnb.

Janet. Britney hasn't served songs that are pure R&B (Any Time, Any Place), pop (When I Think Of You), and rock (Black Cat) nor has she given influences of disco (Together Again), hip hop (Got Til It's Gone), house (Throb), and funk (Nasty). Plus her lyrical content is far more diverse than Britney's has ever been. The Velvet Rope album can attest to that.

Janet's discography is quite diverse, and Britney's is the opposite. It's as clear as day.

Janet probably.
I prefer Britney's though, it's more cohesive as a discography.
