that's a huge mistake. both still make R&B music. What they do with their pop singles is still just dance/electro music. People assume that's what R&B is nowadays, but unlike what many might think, those songs won't be played on urban radio stations and are in no way R&B songs.
Jay Sean himself also did many generic records so it's really not fair tbh.
