So you're at the bookstore, looking at magazines to read since you're a poor college student, when you get to the gay (non-****) magazines. Now, not only are they next to Playboy, Hustler, etc. which is awkward, but then some of them are in that damn plastic wrap that they mostly only put the ****o mags in. You want to read Gay Times UK and Attitude and DNA, but are you going to pay $10 for one magazine that you can't even flip through? Hell no.

What do you do?

I just carefully open the plastic.

That's annoying. Why are non ****agraphic gay mags in a plastic bag?

They do it with gaming magazines too, I remember as a kid not being able to read the stuff (which you could find online anyway) because they were being stingy. I mean I started reading GQ when I took the train but only started as they weren't seal and I could sample it.
It's a pet peeve indeed though.

It's understandable why they'd cover it, but you'd just either have to take your chances and buy it or just leave it.

I have never encountered this problem.

I won't even flip through it in public. That would be awkward.

Because homophobes suck.

Although it doesn't make sense in a bookstore because homophobic people obviously don't read.

And because parents would complain... even though right below you have men dressed in very little on fitness magazines.
