I am now currently learning about investing and reading the stock market. I have no idea what these lines that shows ups and downs like an ekg means can someone who knows about this stuff teach us what it all means, how to invest, and how to read the market? because i am just lost

Why do you not go to an independent financial Advisor. Their services are FREE OF CHARGE (in the UK) and they can give you some educated advice on how to invest your money; rather than asking a bunch of queens on a celeb website who drag female singers.............

My dad does the stocks for me because he's interested in it.
Government Bonds are your best bet in terms of risk since they are issued by the government, but they have a smaller return usually. That's most peoples main investments though since they are so safe

I agree though you shouldn't be asking a bunch of queens on ATRL for advice about finance and economics. A lot of people here lack education about things like that
