In the UK, we're a bit progressed with our terminology.
A rapper is simply anybody that raps. It can be pop songs, hip-hop songs, grime tracks, dance beats, whatever. So Nicki is both a popstar and a rapper. Do you understand how that works?
People like Eminem, Professor Green, Dizee Rascal, etc. are all called popstars too in the UK, but they're still rappers.
