No its not the new plot line for 'Die Hard 5', Bruce Willis is set to take Apple to court over the rights to his impressive and expensive online music collection after he dies.
The actor, who is used to fighting crimes as film's tough gut, wants wants to leave his beloved music collection to his daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, reports The Sun.
However, under iTunes' current terms and conditions, users do not own the music but essentially only 'borrow' tracks.
Meaning that his impressive music collection, which includes classics the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, would be worthless after his death.
Willis has now turned to his advisers to set up a trust that holds his downloads and is also taking legal action to increase the rights of downloaders.
Chris Walton, an estate specialist at Irwin Mitchell, told a newspaper: “Lots of people will be surprised on learning all those tracks and books they have bought over the years don’t actually belong to them.
“It’s only natural you would want to pass them on to a loved one.”
Similar problems apply to the digital books millions download to electronic reading devices such as Amazon’s Kindle.
