Do you find accents, on people from any region, either attractive or interesting? What are your favorites, if any?

I though of this topic after I mentioned my dislike of nearly all the various British accents to a friend in school today. My personal favorite accent is Australian, I find it attractive.

However, Tom Daley has the cutest accent ever despite being British.

I wonder if any foreign people find american accents attractive? I've never heard of that, its always the other way around.

I've found Boston, British, and to an extent Southern accents to be un-attractive.

Good to see I'm not the only person who loves Australian accents. I also like Irish accents even if they can be a bit hard to understand sometimes.

I love southern accents on men. I find all accents interesting though.

Mine, Midwestern from Illinois, is just really literal. One characteristic of it is hard "r" sounds, but otherwise it's very plain and boring.

Although we do have some American Southern accents around where I live for some odd reason.

Why does everybody love the Australian accent so much?

Because they're cute.
