I love all the new Lupe's material but this era is a mess. I mean from the 4 or 5 songs released on iTunes, which one is the lead single that is going to be promoted on the radio with a MV and performances?

IT'S NOT LUPE'S SONG HE IS A GUEST RAPPER. Sorry but it annoys me when people do that to a song, it is Guy's song and Lupe is the guest rapper so why should he get first creidt. Petty tho I know

Amazing song though, if it picked up and eventually went top 10 on Billboard (DREAM) I'd be ecstatic for Guy to finally get international success as he deserves!

its just because a. it's being released through lupes label in the US, b. it's gonna be included on lupes album as well as guys (as far as im aware) and c. they do kinda have equal parts on the song anyway so it's basically a duet

I think it's safe to say his label backed off this go around and are letting Lupe do what we wants with this album. Lasers had a huge hit in "The Show Goes On", and his Trey Songz song was a minor hit. "Superstar" off the album before was a big hit as well. I think this time out singles aren't being sent out to dominate radio (seriously, who would ever play "Bitch Bad"?)

And I'm sure there are going to be more radio friendly songs on the album (maybe not like "The Show Goes On", but like "Kick, Push" and "Daydream".

That being said, "Battle Scars" could be a hit for him. I'm surprise with how much the general public has taken to Lupe Fiasco. All his singles do really well on iTunes, especially for having almost zero promo. Here's to hoping radios follow suit
