I think Lizzie McGuire was the first major example of a Disney Channel star being pushed into several lucrative markets, especially music.
Lizzie McGuire was like the test-run. By the time Hannah Montana came out, they had much more experience and did a better job branding the show and its star.
I still wonder how things would have turned out if Lizzie McGuire had continued. It was financial negotiations that brought the show to an end.
Hannah really made a HUGE impact for sure, but really, Lizzie McGuire was just an epic show, I miss those type of disney shows lol, it really paved the way for future shows
These are two different generations.. smh. Of course I liked Lizzie better since I'd rather flip to her than Hannah. HM seemed so over-acted and loudly dramatic for no bumkin reason.
But sales why, Hannah Montana had a freakin concert DVD and everything and wasn't really billed as a music star. So Hannah gets the leg up in that sense.
Hannah. Sold more albums, made more money for Disney, and is more iconic. Hannah's movie made more money than Lizzie's movie, and had a gigantic 3D concert. She wins.
I am voting for Lizzie just because the show was better and I love Hilary more.
