Journey To The Past was robbed of its Oscar. My Heart Will Go On is so ridiculously melodramatic and hugely helped by the fact that it was a tragic movie about a disaster.

Although I'm sad Aaliyah won't have a part in it, I'm incredibly excited to see Anastasia finally coming to Broadway as a musical in the next year or two. I'd like to think Aaliyah's flawless performance here and on the single raised the film's musical pedigree to the point where Fox is willing to risk developing a stage version of it.

Journey to the past was no competition to MHWGO, honestly. That song was a revelation for general public.
