Christina Aguilera's yo-yoing weight has never been an issue for her loving boyfriend Matt Rutler, but now he is accused of urging the singer to eat and drink excessively because "he wants her on the hefty side."
The guitarist has been labelled a 'chubby chaser' by a source claiming to be a close friend of the couple, who says Matt encourages Christina to eat and drink too much because he doesn't find thin women attractive.
The National Enquirer reports: “Christina Aguilera has packed on 25 pounds, and pals claim it’s because her boyfriend Matt Rutler is a chubby chaser."
The source went on: “Matt tells Christina he loves big, beautiful gals and has no interest in rail-thin hotties.”
In fact, the Enquirer alleges that Rutler is “urging the ‘Voice’ judge to eat whatever she wants.” That supposedly doesn’t sit well with Aguilera’s friends, whom the source alleges “are worried that she’s fallen back into her old ways, eating, drinking and letting herself go, and they blame Matt.”
The National Enquirer's source insisted that Christina's weight gain is down to her partner, adding:
“She and Matt have been gorging on fattening foods and they’re known for guzzling booze. Her weight is in free fall, but packing on pounds is no problem because Matt wants her on the hefty side.”
