Michael Jackson has NEVER been overtly sexual and Prince is just 1 out of 1,000 male pop artists. Point proven! For every 1 Usher, there are 15 Britney's if you get what I'm saying.

Elvis had legions of fans throughout his career. The controversy helped him more than anything.
Michael may not have been overtly sexual as a person, but his image and music as a teen-young adult certainly was.
Honestly, no. And it's not like the Britney/Rihanna's of the world are in some kind of enviable position because they "get" (when the reality is that they're practically forced) to shake their asses on TV to get sales. The only way society accepts female sexuality is when men get to enjoy it. Pop music ITSELF relies on the objectification of women to survive.
These men we're talking about can invite girls backstage after concerts or have 5 alleged baby mamas and no one bats an eyelash, but Ke$ha and Rihanna are branded ****s for singing about enjoying sex? Why do you think Britney, Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift and more had to pull the whole "virgin until marriage" act?
Pop music doesn't exist in a vacuum. The world would be completely fine with Adam and Sam being frank about sex if they were having sex with women.
