Heard a song and the only lyrics I can remember is "I can see it in your eyes". It was rock and sounded like Carolina Liar (but it's not). Any help?

With "i can see it in your eyes" this is the first song that came to my mind, but it's not rock.

The closest to that I can think of is After Tonight by Justin Nozuka but the lyrics go There's something in your eyes.

No it's not my bb Nozuka, it definitley had more rock behind it. Thanks though!
