Over the last 3 months, these four names have been thrown around by the media at a dizzying pace about being the new panel of American Idol judges. And with the confirmation from both Mariah and Pharrel; Adam telling his fans he's got a "new job in September"; and Brad Paisley having two weeks off of his summer tour in September, I think it's safe to say these four are the new American Idol judges! And with The Voice and Idol having 4 counterpart judges (Mariah/Christina, Lambert/Levine, Pharrel/Ceelo, and Brad Paisley/Blake Shelton), I think FOX would smash with this lineup!

AI will continue to have its decent ratings; Mariah is their biggest draw. This isn't gonna change anything. The Voice will continue to do well and FOX will see bigger increases with X Factor, not Idol.

But seriously, Mariah is the only one I could see bringing in viewers. I think AI will continue to flop.

Even with Mariah as a judge I DON'T wanna watch American Idol. I'm here for The Voice and X-Factor

I expect similar ratings with American Idol and higher rating from The X-Factor and similar ratings for The Voice.

For the past 9 years, American Idol has remained the biggest and highest rated show on television after Monday Night Football.

XF still has a long way to go before it overtakes Idol in ratings. Idol is the #2 show behind NFL on Fox and still produces artists from the show (Scotty has done very well from him self). I don't even think The Voice will increase next season. For one thing it has no credibility at all with the winners they produce, and its already getting stale with the product.

X Factor will absolutely kick TheVoice's ass in the ratings war this fall but still wont be enough to overtake Idol. Though, I think the season will be overall better then last season.

noone is denying Idol is still popular but it has seen a slight decline. I do think Mariah will bring in viewers cause I myself and interested in seeing her as a judge. But you can't Deny Britney Spears will be a massive drawl.

American Idol isn't special anymore. the winners rarely go on to do anything great, and we have a new one each year! There's just nothing to be excited about anymore
