to be honest, back when abel had only released house of balloons and frank only had nostalgia ultra it was fairly easy to compare the two. now abel is 3 releases deep and frank has released a major label album their sounds are very different so they're not really comparable anymore.
i love them both so idk.. its kinda an apples and oranges thing here imo
Live, absolutely Frank Ocean is better. But The Weeknd's trilogy is some of the best R&B I've ever heard. (Frank Ocean still hasn't made a song as good as "Wicked Games".)

First of all, don't be ignorant. Frank isn't gay.
Second of all, Frank was critically acclaimed early last year, and his mixtape was on almost every critic list of Best albums of 2011. So there goes your theory.
The Weeknd's ****ing amazing. Just as good as Frank Ocean tbqh.
