I started seeing polls like "Opinion of the USA" and other ones that were inspired by The Olympics. However, nobody ever asked directly about The Olympics! I follow some events and watch prime time on NBC but that's just about it. Sooo... how do you feel about The Olympics?!?!

Couldn't care less about them.

I like them. But some countries take them too seriously (mostly the competitive ones)

I love them. I feel horrible for people who are forced to train 24/7 as young children. I also hate when people can't accept their losses and demand an appeal/a recount.

I love the Olympics. There isn't really anything I dont enjoy watching. The competition >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I like watching them but don't actively seek them out... like I don't go "oh damn it's 8:00, I gotta watch women's water polo!"

I follow the games religiously. Like today, I got up at 10 and have been watching for about 6 non-consecutive hours now. I'll probably be watching the rest of the night too. The summer games anyway. I don't give 2 ****s about the winter games even though that's where my nation really prospers.

NBC's coverage of the Olympics is pretty lackluster

Some of the "sports" represented are embarrassing, and I don't consciously go out of my way to watch them.
Gymnastics, diving, track & field, and archery are the most impressive sports introduced.

I'm so proud of the UK for how well we've hosted it so far.

So yeah, count me a supporter of the Olympics
