Haha I don't think that being the first to release a 4th album is necessarily a good thing.
Why? All his albums smashed except for his xmas album! He remained on a record deal for 3 albums and releasing his 4th on a record deal. Who else did it?! Alexandra - dropped. Shayne - dropped. Diana Vickers - dropped ( - Although she got re-signed this year )

Artistic development? This is the first time he's actually written anything, and weren't his last two albums cover albums? But he didnt want that, he went to XF but failed at delivering
