Last week, news surfaced that Drake may be getting scammed out of millions of dollars. Today, a legal document reveals that Drake is in fact at the center of a serious legal battle.
. Texas rap impresario and son of a rap icon, Jas Prince, who discovered Drake is speaking out. Not only talking, he's also brought his attorney's into the situation, persuing money owed for bringing Drake to to YMCMB.
"The music exec who discovered Drake says that the rap star's management company has cheating him out of big bucks —
and that Drake is being ripped off to the tune of millions as well. In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, James 'Jas' Prince says that he discovered Drake on MySpace back in 2007 and introduced him to Lil Wayne and the bad-boy rapper's managers -- only to get cut out of the deal", reports the New York Post.
For the introduction, J Prince was to be given a percentage of Toronto-rapper's earnings.
Though almost 4 years, multiple platinum albums, gold and platinum singles, and world touring are under Drake's belt, Jas has recieved not even one cent.
To make matters worse, Prince has investigated earning and discovered Drake's being scammed out of millions. The bolsterous rapper who allegedly purchased a Hidden Valley, California mansion recently,
has not been paid for any of his hit rap/pop songs.-and says the ‘Motto’ MC is likely going to sue his manager and Aspire on his own.
"He hasn't been paid, and we haven't been paid," said Prince's lawyer, James McMillan.
