Basically it would tell a story about falling in love, and eventually how it ruins you. The first song is a party song, but very self centered in a positive way. As the relationship progresses the songs become more centered around the partner. Once you reach "Primadonna" it signals the start of trouble; the person becomes so in love with themselves that they neglect their partner. The next song shows them fighting because the singer feels they are superior. "Circle the Drain" switches to the partners point of view, and is about leaving that person. "Born to Die" and "Summertime Sadness" are the final goodbyes as the person becomes depressed and broken. While "Russian Roulette" mirrors the first song, where it is all about the singer, this time about their death. The final sound is of a gun shot, and the album is over.
