"Playing the Olympia was a magical moment for me and it was real treat to do this special show for my fans and be so close to them. Unfortunately at the end of the show - after I left the stage - a few thugs who were not my fans rushed the stage and started throwing plastic bottles pretending to be angry fans. The press reports have focused on this and not the joyous aspect of the evening. But nothing can take away or ruin this very special evening for me and my fans. When I looked out in the audience, everyone I saw had a smile on their face. I look forward to having this wonderful experience again."
I don't believe what she's saying by it just being a few "thugs" that weren't her fans.... but it's good she acknowledged the situation and what happened
No, were you? Since you think this is truthful. I'm going off videos, fans who were there and reliable news sources.
Me neither, Madonna was though. And since we don't have any documentation on how the whole situation really started and developed, Madonna's words are just as truthful as those "fans".

In the video it looks a little more than a few thugs tho.
The video only shows the bottles hitting the stage, from a crowd - stage view. If we had one showing the view from stage - crowd, then we could tell for sure how many thugs.
I don't really see anyone that seemingly angry except for a few people who threw water bottles and the guy who was sticking out his middle fingers at the crew. Most people seemed like they were indifferent to what the "thugs" were doing.
