The parents of a 12-year-old boy with terminal cancer believe they found the remedy for him to enjoy his short time left. They never told him he was dying.
I think whether it's a right thing or wrong thing to do is just a matter of opinion. Because either way can have significant repercussions.
I can understand because dying is scary, but didn't he have a right to know what was going on with his body? 12 is young but he still could've understood what was going on. IDK.
I really and split on this. I understand that they didn't want their son to have emotional duress from his impending illness, but I'd want to know if I would be able to live or die if I was in his situation.
Hm... Not sure whether or not they did the right thing by not telling him. I guess living with hope instead of waiting out your death is better for someone so young.
