She's a goddess actually but if we are speaking on mortal terms than yes she is a movie star.

She is the highest paid black actress.
Her gross almost comes to 1 Billion dollars.
She has the highest debut film gross of a singer or whatever that record was.
Even with all of this said, I don't think I'd call her a movie star.
She definitely has star power though.
