A few years ago, I was in the 8th grade and there were these 3 guys who basically jumped me in the school restroom for being gay.

My eyebrow was cut open and i had to get 8 stiches. They told me to tell the school administrator, nurse and my parents that I hit my head on the restroom door, or they'd beat me up worse. I did so because they knew where I lived, and my parents were always at work, and I had no other option.

Nobody until this day knows what happened to me on that day. Partially because I hate confrontation, and because I don't know what others would think about me.

So, I was wondering, have any of you ever been physically bullied, and did you ever tell anyone about it?

No. I have never been bullied.
You should really tell someone about what happened. Don't wait until it's too late.

Yes the school i went to half was homophobic. i sometimes wish i was home schooled instead.

Yes they used to through those big text books at my head for not being a stereo typical thug black boy My big cousin used to beat me up so i'll act "Hard". I'm glad i stayed who i was most of the people who used to tease me for being different are either dead or in jail.

Yes. My freshman year, my house was broken into by classmates and they assaulted me; all because I was gay. I filed a police report, had them all arrested, I pulled out of public school and succeeded in having them jailed for a short period of time. Unfortunately, though, they couldn't prosecute it as a hate crime, which would have given them more time, because the hate crime law wasn't passed until a year later.

People are so ****ed up.

In middle school I almost committed suicide because of the bullying. I remember when this girl poured milk all over my shirt. In the 9th grade a guy threw a textbook at my back and it left a huge gash and it bled really bad. I almost got suspended even though he threw it at me.

I always thought this type of stuff only happened in movies or on TV.

This guy broke my finger once, but I did say his ashy skin made him look like he had aids.

I always thought that The US was open-minded about homosexuality.

yes, not as bad as you described, but luckily for me the bullies were kicked out of my school for stealing and i told my parents about it a year later
