Kreayshawn's not really about the bars. She's just a lot of fun. Not all rappers need to be super technical about it. Appreciate her for what she is, at least she's self-aware.
@Michete you're right that's what i do somewhat like about her. her sound makes you wanna move
but to be in the hip hop game i just think that as a hip artist you're bars have to be competitive...sometimes at least but i understand where you're coming from
That's the thing though. I don't think rappers like Kreayshawn and 2 Chains and the like are really concerned with being part of "the game". They just want to make fun music. I mean, we let pop artists make fun songs that lack lyrical complexity all the time and they get away with it, it shouldn't be different for rappers.
@Michete ...that makes alot of sense.....no shade because ik people are sarcastic on here ...but you proved a good point ...certain hip hop artist tend to certain parts of hip hop .. people like krey, chainz, waka and etc. make fun music .
Yes, exactly. I love 2 Chainz and Waka and Kreayshawn. When I see people criticize them for not being lyrically complex, it's like you're really missing the point. Haha.
