Movie: Jurassic Park 4 to be here in 2 years!

This news goes hand in hand with what Steven Spielberg (“Jurassic Park”) said at Comic-Con last year when he mentioned that the film would hit theaters within 2-3 years. Maybe Spielberg (who is producing the sequel) will step up to the plate, but chances are not great.

Screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (“Rise of the Planet of the Apes”) were hired by Universal to work on the script. They did fantastic work revitalizing the dead "Apes" franchise, and I think they will do wonders, story wise, for this franchise. I really hope that through the use of modern CGI and practical effects, and amazing producing and screen writing, they can bring us a fitting end to this franchise.

The writers on it are actually really good and Frank is amazing so...

Agreed, the Spinosaurus in JP3 was cool, but Tyrannosaurs really were iconic for the franchise, as well as paleontology in general. They shouldn't have paid them dust in JP3.
