In fact, THE VELVET ROPE is an album people were staring to like FAR AFTER it's been released
it's an intense album with very few hits.

Rhythm nation and Control did have a huge amount of iconic hits.

Janet. produced very few hits as well.

With CONTROL and RHYTHM NATION , janet did have iconic hits and built her legend
