You guys are all being really irrational/histrionic with this whole thing.

The same thing happened with WTT: it was iTunes exclusive for a week or two, then Target decided to sell it. Considering that Target and iTunes used to have a thing with each other, I would imagine that they are still kinda pressed about that too.

And I hope you all aren't being so delusional to thinking that anyone outside this forum cared enough to boycott Target to the extent that their sales hurt, "forcing" the retailer to sell the album. That's just nonsensical.

A mess

That's not at all what the member meant. Just that, if you don't have the album available to buy, people won't buy it, so you won't make money off of it. But there is a strong interest in the album, so if you do sell it, you'll make money on it.

Hopefully they'll reorder their 20K copies soon.

interesting... then somebody should tweet frank's management and tell them that the album is not available at target because it all sold out at best buy

Not from the US, but I believe that unless Target have their own version of the album, they don't usually stock iTunes-exclusive albums until a few weeks after release, to make a point about how unfair that practice is. Same goes for DVDs.
