I'm not sure how the movie will turn out (average-decent most likely), but hats off to the marketing team who approved this trailer.
It does the "WE NEED ENYA MUSIC TO SOUND EPIC" thing pretty well, and the Costner monologue is great. On top of that, the Malick shots give it a sense of ethereality.
the reason the trailer doesn't show much of the main film is because the movie only recently entered post-production and the studio wanted something quickly put out so they could screen it before TDKR and get some buzz going. i guess the bits they included were the only bits which were actually edited and in a state where fans could actually see it lol
but ya this looks like it could be the next superhero epic especially since the batman movies are finished. i've never really been a fan of the previous superman films but this is shaping up to be really great
Anyway, I'm so ready for Henry to be the best Clark Kent of all time
