Well, I can't explain what it is, but 9 times out of 10, gay men unconciously gravitate and respond to music created by females and not music by males. Maybe we live vicariously through them and relate to their sound more?

Jessie J is openly bi and some say she's secretly lesbian.. What about Ricky Martin though?

Are they the gays biggest Icons though?

Well I don't know. The Scissor Sisters have a huge gay fanbase. They just have had a hard time having commercial success in America, and recently, the whole world.
