Does anyone believe this? We are supposed to believe that the same woman who starred in movies such as "Valentine’s Day" and "New Year’s Eve,” showing how selective she is with her jobs, declined a big budget superhero movie with multi-picture potential? I wouldn't be surprised if she's just playing games, since this isn't an uncommon tactic and she's been known to do it, with much less success than others as usual. She's leaked stories that she's being considered for some roles so that she might be considered for others, and she has confirmed herself as the lead in several movies to The Hollywood Reporter herself before there was even a decision made with the result being a total backfire every time.
