Yes. "Part of Me" and the scene in "Wide Awake" were very classy.

He's a comedian guys. Just because he divorced your fave doesn't bar him from doing his job, no matter how bad he is at it.

I tried to defend her in this, but that one line made a difference. If she had kept the song they way it was, than this could be argued. But the song was directed at him.

Yes, actually She released that song right after the divorce was announced and changed the lyrics, which was obviously about him. He was saying how he still cared and loved her, then she does THAT?

First of all, he's known to be crass. He's a crass comedian and it was a crass joke. I don't think it was anything unexpected from him, or him trying low blows at her. It's his job to act like that.

Second of all, why do people keep bringing up Part of Me and Wide Awake as proof that Katy is just as bad or worse than him... Where in those songs does she really attack him? They are SELF EMPOWERMENT songs. She never said anything directly insulting about him in either song, and as many have pointed out, Part of Me wasn't even written about him. It is a generic break up song, not a personal attack. Katy has not been a bitch about their divorce AT ALL.

Can someone stop fighting for a second and explain the joke?
