"Loud" is a new song from Mexican pop diva Paulina Rubio's new EP titled Brava! Reload. This song, which is a dance song, is produced by RedOne who also produced the rest of the songs on the EP.
awful , generic, dated, and predictable... sorry if I'm brutally honest.
and to be honest, I don't think she will ever make it in the anglo / english / international market.
I somehow agree, but I wouldn't say it's awful of course. Let's not forget that it was produced by RedOne, that's why it "had" to be generic and predictable like most of the songs that he produced, in exception for Gaga's songs.
Her label is no longer supporting her, I guess this is gonna her last album with Universal Music.

Well I mean the song is way to basic and not innovative at all... I just think that "Pitbull", "On the floor", "Kat deLuna" direction she is taking is not the right for her....
.. she needs a different sound...... her recent musical deccissions have been disappointing.

Disappointing? Me Gustas Tanto went #1 on Billboard Hot Latin Song and Boys Will Be Boys was the summer song in Spain. I wouldn't call that disappointing.
Brava! wasn't promoted enough, neither by her nor by Universal.

When I said disappoiting I was refering to the "Musical direction" she is taking, the "Musical taste"... her recent songs are not innovative, are generic, and predictable... I was refering to that, not the commercial aspect.
but even if "Me gustas tanto" went #1, I don't think she is selling her album good to be honest.
and "Boys will be boys" I remember that track, the first time I've heard it was here on ATRL , it was an english track and it was kind of a worldwide flop / bomb

just saying
I don't think she's taking that musical direction forever, it's just for this specific album. She wanted it to be dance, probably she wanted to go electronic and that's why she worked with RedOne and made pretty catchy and commercial songs even if they were repetitive.
Brava! is her worst-selling album. It only sold 100.000 copies worldwide, so far. And it's all because Universal didn't promote the album well and Paulina didn't promote it the way she promoted her previous albums as she had legal and family problems.
I REALLY hope this is her last albums with Universal so she can move to another record label.
Well Shaki is a worldwide star... she is even comparable to the big anglo divas.
and I've heard Thalia's last album sold good in latin america, in it was like "The 21" of Mexico... but IMO Thalia is way too ridicoulous I don't like her.

Shakira is by far the most famous Latin artist, nobody denies that. Thalia's album sold well but you said it, it was the 21 of Mexico which means it only sold well in Mexico. Not saying it flopped in other parts of Latin America but Mexico is where PF sold more copies.

Yep .. that's why I made that comment.. it was like "The 21" of Mexico.

I thought Brava Reload is a deluxe version of Brava. I think this is another bad decision from Universal to release this one.
Paulina should include English versions of "Cásate con Tu Mamá" , "Hoy Me Toca a Mí" and "Sabes Que Te Amo" with the EP. I think those are the potential hits from Brava especially "Hoy Me Toca a Mí" (well just my opinion). I really like this song.
Well, Primera Fila was just released in some parts of Latin America and mainly in Mexico, that's why it was a total hit in her homeland. I even bought a copy imported from Mexico. lol.

It was supposed to be a deluxe version of Brava! that was going to include Spanish tracks as well. Those English songs on Brava! Reload were supposed to be on a whole new album in English, but as usual, Universal changes plans at the very last minute.
