Justin Bieber can add an Ontario high school diploma to his long list of achievements.
The international pop superstar is in the 2012 graduating class of St. Michael Catholic Secondary School in Stratford, Ont., his hometown.
The high school held its commencement ceremony on Thursday night, but Bieber wasn't there to collect his diploma in person. There was no repeat of his surprise appearance in Stratford earlier this month when he sang his hit "Baby" on the steps of the Avon Theatre, where he once made $150-$200 a night busking.
"I guess if it happened quietly it's because Justin chose to keep aspects of his education quiet," said Dan Parr, a superintendent with the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board.

He's still been in high school this entire time?

He turned 18 in March. Most people graduate at that age.
He's been in school just as long as everyone else.

now he should go to college and stay there for a while.

I know he's 18, I just don't picture him as a high schooler from some reason, especially with all the things he does in different places.
And I also though I had read that he graduated earlier this year.

It was the same for Britney Spears throughout the BOMT era and the first half of the Oops era. They have their schooling on the road for most of the time and they have a tutor that goes with them and they submit their work when they have the time to get it finished.
