Toxicology Results on 'Causeway Cannibal'
Basically, they found NOTHING.
No street drugs/asphalts (bath salts), no prescription drugs, and no alcohol. Only marijuana.

Rudy Eugene, the man who ate the face off a homeless man he attacked along the MacArthur Causeway, was not high on bath salts or any other exotic street drug at the time of the attack, according to a report released Wednesday (June 27th) by Miami-Dade Medical Examiner Dr. Bruce Hyma.
The toxicology report found marijuana in Eugene's system, but no evidence of any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs, or any adulterants found in street drugs. That includes cocaine, LSD, amphetamines (Ecstasy, Meth and others), phencyclidine (PCP or Angel Dust), heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, synthetic marijuana (Spice), and many other similar compounds.
Hyma's office also specifically ruled out bath salts, a class of synthetic drugs that have been known to cause bizarre behavior and overheating of people who use them, two things that made some believe Eugene's cannibalistic behavior was due to the drugs.
"The department has also sought the assistance of an outside forensic toxicology reference laboratory, which has confirmed the absence of "bath salts," synthetic marijuana and LSD," the report said.
"Within the limits of current technology by both laboratories, marijuana is the only drug identified in the body of Mr. Rudy Eugene." An expert on toxicology testing said marijuana alone wasn't likely to cause behavior as strange as Eugene's.
"The problem today is that there is an almost an infinite number of chemical substances out there that can trigger unusual behavior," said Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida. Goldberger said the medical examiner's office in Miami is known for doing thorough work and he's confident they and the independent lab covered as much ground as possible. But it's nearly impossible for toxicology testing to keep pace with new formulations of synthetic drugs.

And apparently, in case anyone thought otherwise, Rudy didn't actually eat the man's face. The autopsy found no human flesh in his stomach, but revealed human flesh lodged between his teeth, of course. Earlier investigations discovered chunks of Poppo's flesh on the ground during the attack, as if they had been spit out. x

Doctors removed Poppo's left eye but are trying to find a way to restore vision in his right eye. He will likely remain at the hospital for several more weeks and will need more surgeries before he can explore the options for reconstructing his face. The doctor said Poppo hasn't once complained about his pain and is aware of the media coverage. Being homeless for nearly 30 years, social workers will try to help Poppo find a place to live. A fund established by the Jackson Memorial Foundation to assist Poppo has raised $15,000. Poppo also qualifies for Medicaid and Medicare, hospital officials said.

In the more detailed link, there's this 'addiction expert' woman supporting the idea and giving theories as to how marijuana could have been the case. I'm not buying that

She also suggested that if Eugene had a mental disorder, "the marijuana could have increased even further the dopamine levels and aggravated the situation. So that can't be ruled out."
