In the past year, many changes have come to ATRL. These changes are including, but not limited to:

a brand new server
creation of Base
changes in thread policy for Music News
explicit content ban
restriction on file sharing & file share request
addition of new rules in Stand Your Ground and No Holds Barred
addition of four new moderators (Katie, Lipton, Lee, and Billie Joe)
implementation of ATRL+

Many existing members have voiced their opinions at various stages about the changes, and some have decreased their posting activity immensely. Despite this, ATRL continues to attract new members while the old ones diminish. This is beginning a gradual shift in the overall dynamic of the forum which can already be seen in major threads like Stand Your Ground and No Holds Barred.

Which of these change(s) have affected you the most as ATRL goes into its new era?

All of them have improved the experience in ATRL. In the beginning, we would complain about them, but as the time went by, at least I've realized that these changes have been for good.

Y'all better add a notification center though.

I looooove Base so much. And the explicit ban makes me feel safer at work.

That's true, especially for Base. Everyone hated Base and outraged when it debuted, and now everyone loves it.

I love the new rules. Last year there were too many explicit discussions/threads; it got so bad I thought about leaving. The changes have been phenomenal.

The creation of base changed it a lot even when I was just a lurker, the explicit content ban made it safer for work but a litttllle less fun sometimes, and then "other" would be that I actually joined.

At first base was really confusing, but in the end it worked out really well. Props to the person that thought of it.

Well I gotta say that Creation of Base was cool (because
Britney didn't have an album to discuss at the moment ), the
explicit ban is THE BEST, good for the new server, I want ATRL+
and wasn't the file share policy already old?... and cool new mods.

I can't comment on the changes since I wasn't here around that time but I do have to say this seems to be a well-run place. The rules can be a tad excessive but it's for the greater good so I'll let it slide.

Me being reinstated would be the obvious one for me , but also Base, the explicit ban, and Celestial leaving

The new server is much better, I like the 4 mods that were added, and Base is really cool. The explicit content didn't necessarily affect me but I can see how this change has had a positive effect on others.

The SYG/NHB additional rules are the only aspect I'm not too crazy about, just because I feel it goes against the original intent of the two threads.

I like it, just wish we had Notifications for quotes.

This sans the first sentence. ATRL isn't as fun as it used to be and I rarely kii.

Atrl is still my favorite site though. I love some new members.

I like the new mods, the explicit ban is good for people wanting to view somewhere else (really good). ATRL+ must be nice for those using it and who can complain about a new server?

It's amazing so far.
