Muse will return in September with their sixth studio album, The 2nd Law, according to a just-released, dubstep-flavored teaser trailer which packs footage of the stock market and oil fields. Watch the clip below and draw your own conclusions.
The dubstep-like sounds could just be a troll, or it could be the start of something that will divide the Muse fan base in a way that makes the divide over The Resistance look like child's play in comparison.
This is going to be something special. Whether it's the good kind of special or the bad kind of special...well, I'm not sure yet. But it's going to be one hell of an interesting ride until the album leaks.
Dubstep? That flop title? Really? And I swear, if this is another politically themed album...

I have a feeling this is going to make everyone who bitched about TR finally appreciate it.
