Ciara's last two albums have been major disappointments to many both commercially and musically. Despite that, instead of giving up, Ciara has decided to continue her fight for stardom. Last year, Ciara opened up about her label Jive not supporting with inadequate promotion and funding from the label. Many fans weren't shocked to hear this, especially with the way "Basic Instinct" was handled. While I do blame Ciara for pushing back "Fantasy Ride" and for that mess of an album cover, it was an album that was well ahead of its time and it served well overall. Basic Instinct however saw a much less prissy and artistic treatment, simply because there wasn't enough funds to handle the project correctly. Songs like "Flaws" and "This is What Love is" never making the album is something that baffles me to this day, as they could of easily made the album a WHOLE lot better by replacing BASIC songs like "Girls Get Your Money" and Yeah I Know". So in my opinion, there was no excuse other than the label not supporting for the album performing the way it did. Because as a fan I do admit it was a bad album and is the only album from Ciara I almost regret wasting money on. TRUE HONESTY from A TRUE FAN as at the end of the day I support her no matter what. However now it's time to ask you something....
With a #1 Album , a 3x Platinum Album, three BET Awards, one Grammy Award, three MTV Video Music Awards and over 14 Million Records Sold Worldwide (Single & Album Sales included) does Ciara have the chance to turn things around with a new record label? More importantly will you support Ciara this new era in her music career if she releases the music we've all been wanting from her?
Songs you call basic I love them to pieces. I was happy to support BI, cause its the best album since goodies she put out imo.
Ofcourse I'll support her, Im buying her albums in multiple copies even. She's that important to me.
"Yeah I know you want me yeah I know, yeah yeah, Yeah I know you want me yeah I know" do you honestly picture that being played on the radio as a smash hit? Like come on lets be serious.

you said its basic as an album track and according to your taste. I never said its supposed to be a smash hit, but I LOVE THE SONG.

It's repetitive and has no substance, that's why I think it's basic. Plus, the song contradicts the song of "Girls Get Your Money", which I always find hilarious.
