On the contrary, her belts are probably the worst part of her voice. She doesn't mix (her chest voice with her head voice) at all, and so once she gets to the top of her natural chest belting range, she just shouts through to reach the higher notes. It doesn't sound good and can be
very damaging to the voice in the long run.
But she's obviously only 16, so hopefully with a bit of training that will change.
That was back when Idol had twice the audience it has now.
