While Kelly Clarkson looked absolutely stunning tonight on the Billboard Music Awards, an internet rumor has surfaced from several sources claiming Clarkson’s boyfriend, Brandon Blackstock, step-son of Reba McEntire and son of Narvel Blackstock, cheated on the American Idol winner only 24 hours prior to Clarkson’s appearance on the awards show.

Clarkson took to the stage at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada to perform her new single, “Dark Side,” and towards the end of the song got choked up and teary-eyed, only fueling the speculation that something was weighing heavy on Clarkson’s mind.

The pair have never publicly announced that they are together. However, they sat together at the Grammy Awards and were seen out for dinner in Los Angeles just last week, looking happier than ever.

Clarkson hasn’t had the best dating history – and if the rumors are true, Brandon would be a fool for breaking her heart.
