Briley’s blocking petition seeking Casey Anthony be tried by the Fed. Gov. – what are they hiding?
This petition is being attacked by the Briley’s and affiliates of the Brileys who are trying to get people not to sign the petition, and the Brileys refuse to do anything to stop these attacks; instead, they are providing support and a platform for those who are doing it. Essentially, we are at war with the Brileys over this petition even though they themselves are not doing the fighting; they are having others do it for them so that they remain above suspicion to those who will not question them about this.
Now a word about the petition. Despite the accusations of the Briley’s, this is not a “fake” petition as they have called it. We don’t know what someone means by “fake petition.” It has the proper target, it is well-researched & well-written, it makes a strong case for why Casey Anthony should be charged by the federal government, it is hosted by a reputable website that hosts many other petitions, people sign it, and it will be sent to the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice when it is done. So, where is it fake? If someone tells you that it’s fake, use your brain, use your common sense and ask them, “What’s fake about it?” If by “fake” they mean that one cannot guarantee that the petition will succeed, then all petitions are fake since there are NEVER any guarantees that ANY petition will bring the desired results; it’s a criticism without any substance to it.
The Briley’s have been telling people they should not sign this petition because previous petitions that have asked to bring federal charges against Anthony have not worked. This petition addresses an aspect of the law that no previous petition has. For anyone to say that others should not sign it because of the fate of previous petitions is absurd. It is unique in nature and because of that is NOT like previous petitions that have asked for federal charges. Not signing it simply because of what happened to previous ones is ridiculous because this petition addresses something that no other petition has. No one can foretell the future of what will happen to this petition based on what happened to other petitions. If anyone tells you that they can foretell the future of this petition, they are either psychotic or they are lying to you just to get you not to sign it.
Soon after the petition was created, Jon Briley was asked to sign it and asked him to have his wife, Holly Briley, do so as well. He was asked this because it wa believed at the time that they would like to see Casey Anthony charged by the federal government. He said he would do that. Several days later, it was noticed that neither he nor his wife had signed the petition. A message was sent to Mr. Briley asking him if this was an oversight, and he said that it was and that he would sign it and ask his wife to sign it as well. Jon did sign the petition. However, his wife, who has known about the petition for a long time, has not signed it to this day. This is very strange for someone who says she wants to see justice done in this case, and we are at a loss to explain it given what she has said about Casey Anthony in the past. Something is not adding up.
Only 24 hours after creating and posting the petition on Facebook, both the petition creator and the petition itself were being attacked by ‘The New I Hate Casey Anthony Page’. This is a page that is owned by a person who is an administrator on the Briley’s ‘No Money for Murder’ Facebook page, Greg Lee. The owner of this page, Lee, refuses to post the link to the petition, deletes the posts of others that contain the link to the petition, and bans those who dare to ask him why he will not post it. Jon Briley was asked to stop Lee from engaging in these attacks, but he refused to do that. It’s interesting to note that prior to Lee’s learning about the petition, his page was heavily engaged in attacking Brandon Westbrook’s I Hate Casey Anthony page; once they learned about the petition, this too became a target for them.
The petition creator was on the throes of a dilemma. They had to find a way to stop the attacks from this page to ensure the success of the petition, and the person who could have easily put a stop to it, Jon Briley, refused to help. However, they then got an idea. They decided to let people know that Jon Briley had signed the petition, and made a post at their USA Facebook page informing people that Briley’s had, in fact, signed the petition. This pitted the Briley’s against those making false claims about the petition, their Facebook page, and what they wanted to happen to that petition, to squash it by keeping people from signing it. In fact, one person, after reading this post, added a comment to it that said, “You mean the petition is okay to sign?”
This infuriated Jon Briley. He did not want people to know that he signed it because that was letting people know it was okay to sign, which is just what he did not want them to do. When he saw that post, he contacted the petition creator in a Facebook message, and they had a discussion about it. What ultimately happened is that he attacked the personally in a post he left on the wall at their USA page. That was on April 20th, 6 days after the petition was created and posted on Facebook. It was no longer a secret that Briley’s were the one who were ultimately behind these attacks on the petition, Brandon Westbrook’s ‘I Hate Casey Anthony’ page, and more.
This is unacceptable. The Brileys’ behavior does not comport with their statements, and their unwillingness to stop attacks on a petition that asks the federal government to bring charges against Casey Anthony is proof of that. They are either working for Casey Anthony or they see this petition as some kind of attack on their hegemony over this issue. They are attempting to achieve and maintain absolute control over the anti-Casey Anthony activities on Facebook such that nothing happens without their approval; it is dangerous to give anyone that degree of control, especially to those who have shown that they have a propensity to thwart efforts to bring Casey Anthony to justice. The Brileys’ motivation in trying to establish and maintain this kind of control is either to protect Casey Anthony or to feed their own egos. Neither one of these should be acceptable to anyone who wants to see justice served here. Kick them to the curb, and let those who still support them go down with the ship. There is nothing more cancerous than to allow people who do not want to see Casey Anthony pay for murdering her daughter to continue to derail these efforts. It’s difficult enough as it is without having impostors destroy this effort from within, and they are impostors no matter how anyone looks at it.
In short, the Briley’s are lying to people who really want to see justice done in this case in order to trick them into working against the very goal they hope to realize some day. They aspire to being lucky enough to find people stupid enough to believe their lies in much the same way Jose Baez aspired to be lucky enough to find 12 people stupid enough to believe his lies. Unfortunately, he was lucky enough to do that, and that’s why most of us are where we are at with this mess today.
