Philippine President stans for Jessica Sanchez

Philippine President Benigno Aquino III has expressed his hope that Jessica Sanchez will win American Idol.
Aquino offered his support to Sanchez, who is of Filipino and Latino heritage, while speaking to the press in Manila on Wednesday (May 16).
"Hopefully she really reaches the top," the Philippine president said, according to The AP.
Sanchez also recently received the endorsement of Akon, who said he wants to collaborate with the 16-year-old.
The teen star visited her hometown of Chula Vista, CA this week as a part a trip home for all three American Idol finalists.
Sanchez returns to the American Idol stage tonight (May 16) at 8/7c on Fox.
