This is not a thread to bash Christianity or religion whatsoever, but a thread to discuss a serious question.
The Bible is the basis of morality and life for many human beings; however, is it a good thing to base moral grounds on when a lot of individuals interpret it in different ways and many individuals pick and choose what applies to their lives and their beliefs?
How can we truly rely on something that is so up for discussion and interpretation?
A lot of the New Testament events have been proven to be factual, but the entire concept of Christianity and religion in general is based on faith. People should never use the Bible exclusively as proof of anything.

Really though. No matter how much you try to avoid it, someone's religion is gonna be insulted.
I hate these Atrl discussions. You either believe or you don't.
Good God, enough of these threads. There are billions of Christians on the planet who consider the Bible to be a highly-reliable source by which they live their lives, and there are also plenty of people who are not Christians that also consider the Bible to be legitimate - a respectful stance to take when discussing a religious text.
