LAMBERT GETS THIRD AUDIENCE LEADER!
Quote:
With her second-fastest chart-topping climb, Miranda Lambert seals the deal on a third No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs as “Over You” (RCA) draws 36.6 million audience impressions and jumps 3-1 in its 20th chart week. She clocked her best time to the summit (15 weeks) when “The House That Built Me” spent the first of four straight weeks atop the chart two years ago. She most recently dominated the audience list with “Heart Like Mine,” which needed 21 weeks to lead the May 28, 2011, chart. Lambert’s new No.1 marks the second for a solo female artist this year - Taylor Swift's "Ours" reached No.1 in March.
In its 16th week on Billboard's Country Digital Songs, "Over You" ranks at No.8 with 39,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's the second single from her album Four The Record (RCA/SMN), which moves 7,000 copies during the April 23-29 tracking week and ranks at No.12 in its 26th week on Billboard's Top Country Albums.
