1D are a manufactured band of 5 singers, who've been singing professionally for just over 2 years but if anything, they did as well as the original.

While I don't think they ruined the WMYB chorus (it sounds pretty much exactly like the original), saying that the cast of Glee has been singing professionally on Broadway (which is only true of Lea Michele, Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison) does not mean that everything they do is good. Again, some of their main players have never sang professionally until this show. Overall, they are no more "professional" than the members of 1D are as singers.
Anyway, on this topic, it bothers me how they do songs EXACTLY the same as the original arrangements sometimes (I'm talking about WMYB here). I wish they would at least add some extra harmonies or ad-libs to some of these tracks. Then again, I'm not a big fan of this show (it has become kind of a trainwreck) so I guess fans probably don't mind.

I hope she's gonna make some awesome coreography along with it
