At first it seemed like a tabloid rumor, now a big NY paper is publishing the story:

Lady Gaga is putting her Little Monsters before love.
The pop star has called off her 10-month relationship with “Vampire Diaries” star Taylor Kinney, 30, in favor of going back to work, according to Us Weekly.
"She will be touring nonstop until next year and has found she can't have relationship at the same time," a source told the magazine.

In addition to hitting the road, the 26-year-old performer will also be busy recording her next album in between stops on her 110-show tour.
“There's just no room for anything else. Her work is all-consuming," the source added.
Though the couple is said to be taking “a break” in their romance, those close to the singer weren’t particularly fond of the pairing.
"Taylor was all about himself, a typical actor, and didn't completely get Gaga," said the friend. “(He) was never that attentive to her.”
Still, Gaga didn’t seem to mind the disconnect.
"She loved that she got this guy who everyone thought was hot!” the insider told Us. “But it was never going to last."

Yea that's what makes it fishy.
Rolling Stone and Daily News publishing articles based on tabloids doesn't seem right to me.
Maybe it's easy to get away with these articles because:
A) Gaga never elaborates or talks against/for love-life rumors
B) She's on tour so it's logical and we probably won't see them together

well taylor could easily buy a ticket and see her on tour everytime he wants...  and she dated Luc during monster ball tour.
She'll presumably be touring extensively on and off for many years to come,and everytime she goes on a tour in future,she's going to break up with that guy she's dating ? I don't think so

The difference between Luc and Taylor is that Taylor has a more legitimate job.
I think they're taking a break and the media made out to be more.

Why should Taylor have to buy a ticket? He's her boyfriend. 
Anyway, I hope it's not true, since I like him and he's good for her. I already know she'll take Luc after him again.
