This will most probably be another flop base thread like my Kate Bush one but I must do one on Peter Gabriel! I just bought his third solo album, Peter Gabriel aka Melt today from iTunes and I am obsessed!



I also have So which ironically just started playing while typing this line but that was the first PG album I got and I enjoy it very much.


Reasons why I love Peter..... hm........... Well I like his diversity and his usage of electronics and synths not in a synthpop or dance pop way but in an ambient way to create a mood and his use of African percussion is quite interesting as well.

I've listened to Melt & So; where do I go from here?

Melt is probably my favorite PG album. Can we talk how Genesis with Peter as the lead singer is much better than Genesis with Phil? Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound >>>
