Thank You Gaga
I sat and listened to BTW. I wiped away all my previous “thoughts” about her and the music. It is truly a great album. The pop stars of the current generation release house orientated music, last minute remixes and trashy music videos. You could place Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Ke$ha and reluctantly Britney in a line, have all their albums on a continuous loop and it would sound like an endless chain of Karaoke based hits. How honourable and gratifying is it to see a global force like Gaga release such a diverse, 80’s infused, punky collection of music. Being able to step out of the “shallow, self-obsessed” world of her peers and make a biopic album that has inspired millions in this day of “single hits” is, imo, greater than any achievements made by Madonna, Britney etc. It takes guts to release an album like “BTW” and I applaud Ms.Stefani Kinney.
